News @ Shimla Pinks In January 2002 a £1.2million renovation was carried out by Birmingham's Art Environments Ltd and has proven to be a real success with Shimla's guests. “Our aim was to bring together some of the ideas that influenced the whole Shimla Pinks concept”, Moe Kohli Chief Executive of Shimla Pinks. “We want to bring together the ancient and the modern and to offer complete satisfaction to our guests. So, we've gone for a cool and chic design using pinks - symbolising good energy and mood; stainless steel, which reflects cutting edge technology; and a range of woods, which we hope make the restaurant feel warm and cosy.”
